"…and that's what happened Masters," Anakin ended his report.

"I see. Is there anything else for you to report, Master Skywalker?" Mace Windu queried.

"No Masters."

"Then you may take your leave of us."

"Thank you Ma—" Anakin began before he was cut off.

"Wait a moment, you must. Strange vision I have received of your immediate plans. Intend to inflict serious damage on yourself, you do." Yoda stated.

"What?" Obi-Wan stated, suddenly concerned for his former apprentice.

"What?" Anakin said, confused. "What do you mean…oh! You mean I actually go through with that? Well, I guess I'm not that surprised," Anakin said with a look of comprehension on his face.

"What do you mean?" Obi-Wan asked sharply.

"Well Master, I had every intention of—and apparently will see through the desire to—bash my head into the wall for until either I or the wall admits defeat," Anakin said with a sardonic grin on his face.

The masters in the room just stared at him as if he had lost his mind until finally Obi-Wan spoke up, "…Why?"

"My Padawan," Anakin stated shortly. "She is disobedient, impatient, disrespectful and doesn't listen to a thing I say. She's me!" Anakin shouted in frustration.

Obi-Wan fought to bite back a smile. "I see. I can certainly see how that would be a problem."

"How did you do it, Master? I did the exact same things to you and you never bashed your head into the wall? I can't take it anymore! That girl is going to be the death of me." Anakin cried out, by now warring between his frustration with his student and his amusement with the situation in general.

"Wish to discharge her from your service, do you?" Yoda asked quietly, drawing the attention of everyone in the room, restoring the serious atmosphere that had previously been lightened by humour.

"No, I couldn't do that to Snips," Anakin stated, heaving a great sigh.

"Snips?" Obi-Wan repeated. "She cannot be annoying you to greatly if you have already granted her a term of endearment."

"I never said she was annoying, merely that she would be the death of me. I seem to remember you saying the same of me, Master. And we both know that you never felt me to be annoying," Anakin said cheekily, rougish grin upon his face.

"No, not at all," Obi-Wan commented dryly.

"Oh come on! You know I kept you young at heart," Anakin said amusement shining in his eyes.

"Young? You took years off my life! All that foolish flying and those reckless antics of yours! It's a wonder I've lasted as long as I have!" Obi-Wan cried out.

"I was merely providing a means for your heart to get more exercise so that it would not fail you later in life," Anakin stated matter-of-factly.

"Oh my mistake," Obi-Wan stated dryly. "On second thought, I think I shall try my own hand at seeing if the wall will aid me in my struggle to not kill my own student."

And with that Obi-Wan left the chambers in search of a sturdy wall.

"Well, I certainly feel better," Anakin said with a smile as he too left the chambers, in much better spirits than when he had arrived.
