At the apartment, Clifford was feeling really, really, really, really, really, really, sick. Daffodil did her best to help him.
Clifford coughed and said, "Daffodil, I don't feel so good."
Daffodil said, "Don't worry Clifford, I'll help you get better soon."
Clifford said, "Why am I sick."
Daffodil said, "I don't know, did you eat too many doggie treats?"
Clifford said, "No."
Daffodil said, "Yesterday was hot, so I don't know what the problem. What did you eat?"
Clifford said, "I drank water, a little bit of doggie treat, and a chocolate bar."
Daffodil gasped and said, "Clifford, those chocolate bar are poison for dogs."
Clifford said, "They are."
Daffodil said, "Yeah and now your sick and then you'll probably die."
Clifford said, "Die."
Daffodil said, "Oh dear."
Clifford said, "What am I gonna do?"
Daffodil said, "I don't know, but I'm gonna go pray for you."
Clifford said, "Thanks Daffodil."
So Daffodil left and Clifford started to cough some more. Soon, his heart stopped and he was starting to die. Soon, his soul began to rise up and was sent to Heaven. Daffodil quickly prayed to Jesus as she said, "Dear Jesus, please make sure my baby brother is safe. I don't want anything bad happening to him. Can you please bring him back to me? I don't want the other to worry. Thank Jesus."
Clifford woke up peacefully and he found himself on top of a clouds. He looked around and said, "Where am I?"
Soon, Jesus came up to Clifford and said, "Hello Clifford."
Clifford said, "Huh, who there?"
Jesus said, "It me, Jesus. Don't worry, I won't hurt you."
Clifford said, "Am I dead?"
Jesus said, "Of course you are. Welcome to Heaven."
Clifford said, "Wow, what will the other say when I'm not back at the apartment?"
Jesus said, "Well, just a moments ago, your sister Daffodil prayed to me and ask me to bring you back to Earth."
Clifford said, "She did."
Jesus said, "Yes and I will make you a deal."
Clifford said, "What kind of deal?"
Jesus said, "If you promise me not to tell anyone that you were here, I will send you back."
Clifford said, "What about Daffodil?"
Jesus said, "You and Daffodil must not tell anybody. It can be a big problem."
Clifford said, "Okay Jesus, I promise."
Jesus said, "Good, now hold still."
So Jesus quickly sent Clifford's soul back to Earth. Clifford's was now restored. Later, he woke up and heard Daffodil crying. He went up to her.
Clifford said, "Daffodil, are you okay?"
Daffodil stopped crying and saw Clifford right in front of her. She gasped and said, "Clifford, is that you?"
Clifford said, "Yep, I'm back."
Daffodil said, "But, how?"
Clifford said, "I can't tell you and you must promise me that you won't tell anyone what happen today."
Daffodil said, "I promise Clifford."
They gave each other a hugged and went to sleep.
The End.
