Jackie found himself standing just outside the door of "Uncle's Rare Finds", trying to relax as the chaos inside began to wear itself out. Jade had just found out that she had yet another uncle. Not only was she displeased to realize there was going to be yet another adult to boss her around, she was pissed that it was Valmont of all people. First thing she had done when she saw the ex-crime lord's face was to shreik that Valmont was holding Jackie hostage as she launched herself at the blonde man in a noble attempt to free Jackie. Uncle and Toru rushed in to see the scuffle, and, not knowing what was going on exactly, launched an attack of their own. Jackie had to throw himself into Valmont's arms to stop their assault on his husband. That stopped the physical abuse, but not the verbal. Jackie finally found himself hiding outside to avoid the trouble inside.
Strong hands fell on his shoulders and turned him around. Valomont, with a black eye, several scratches, and his right sleave half torn, gave a half smile to the messy haired archeologist.
"Just wait until they hear that we're moving in," Valmont stated coolly, and Jackie couldn't help but laugh.
