Foreword from the Turtle Queen: Sarah

Lasuni: A busy community, which although small, can be hard to keep up with at times. I, Sarah have been observing the lives of the lasoons since I joined back in 2009. I personally find it intriguing to watch how everyone interacts with one another as they wait for the staff members to finish the next major update. The staff are of course like turtles themselves – I should know, I am after all the turtle queen. Slow and steady wins the race they say, and in this instance the updates have definitely been slow. The more time that passes however, the more the users question whether the wait is worth it. Will the new world live up to the many expectations of the lasoons or will it fall short and disappoint many like so many other lands have done before? Of course, disappointment will only end with a riot and of course the staff would not want that, nor would they want my army of cats following them around with bared claws and a hiss on their tongues… Although with an ever growing user base and little to no communication about development, the amount of people who believe that their vision for the future of this land is worth more than everyone else's is growing and it is impossible to please everyone.

While the community waits for a far off update, I find it best to just observe. Sometimes the people we perceive to be innocent are quite the opposite and if you watch them for long enough you begin to notice things. Irregularities in the way which they act, different information being given to different people, users turning a blind eye to big issues. After a while all the small things begin to add up and that's when a world begins to corrupt. It makes you question whether it's been corrupt all along and if so, why it took so long to notice. The world is corrupt, everywhere you look, but sometimes it is your own fault you don't notice. You are blind to the faults of the things you care for and you don't notice until it's too late.
