What Is Monty Python?

The click of coconuts in Camelot,

The screeches and whines of a pepperpot,

The taste of Spam while Vikings laugh and sing,

It truly is a magnificent thing.

Dances with fish slapping out on the docks,

And there's the ministry of silly walks,

No one expected Spain's inquisition,

Not even me, with my intuition.

And there's "workmanships gashes team an an,"

That is "the man who speaks in anagrams,"

Cheese shops with not even one slice of cheese,

Unladen swallows flying through the breeze.

Aaauugh's fearsome, terrifying, green, black beast,

A parrot, bereft of life and deceased,

The ridiculous songs the Python's sing,

The meaning of life, machines that go ping.

When my day has been hard, and full of strife,

I'll always look on the bright side of life,

I've watched all the sketches on DVD,

I wish I could watch them on BBC.

I would stay at home and watch them all day,

Watching French soldiers toss insults my way,

Cross-dressing lumberjacks would chop up wood,

I'd watch it all day if I only could.

And now for something completely different,

These lines don't rhyme.

This was just a little something I wrote for English class. Hope you enjoyed it! Please review!
