This was written really late at night, and I re-did it because I just realized that I had been spelling "Nico" as "Niko". So yeah. My first PJO story didn't start out too good... But enjoy none the less. :D

I should of known something odd was going to happen after I had that dream.

Okay, I admit. I've had some pretty strange dreams. But most were a bit creepy, like something that had happened in the past, or something going to happen in the future. But, really. I've never had a crazy dream like I had that night.

It was something really weird, kind of foggy in my mind at the moment, but it's really hard to forget. Something that had to do in the Underworld. Now, get this; Nico was running around in a bright yellow straitjacket. It would have been amusing, except for the fact that before I could laugh, I was woken up by a very strange voice coming from outside by cabin.

"Percy Jackson, come out with your hands up! You are completely surrounded!"

I sprang up, spazzing out for a moment. Did Luke somehow get into camp? Was there an army outside my cabin? Was everyone safe?

I fumbled around the dark room's floor until I found Riptide, my mighty ballpoint pen. I was starting to wish that Tyson wasn't at Poseidon's kingdom at the moment. So after I grabbed the sword-in-disguise, I cautiously tiptoed to the door. I wouldn't go down without a fight, that's for sure.

I yanked open the door and uncapped my pen, transforming it into a threatening bronze sword. I got sidetracked, thanks to my ADHD, and noticed that it was still a bit dark. I was the only one awake. Or alive, if that was the case.

I suppose I was expecting a bunch of monsters from Luke's army or something. But after I snapped my head around, I noticed no one was there. Well, not completely true.

Nico was there. He looked absolutely mad, with a huge grin on his face. I wanted to strangle him. He just laughed hysterically. "You are no match for your mighty opponent, Spike!"

I had no idea what the kid was talking about. He woke me up at four AM to have me battle someone? Named Spike? I think I just stood there and looked around, a little sketchy. I had a feeling someone was going to jump out of nowhere and rip me in half or something. And I could hardy keep a grip on Riptide. I seriously just wanted to sleep.

After a long, awkwardly silent moment, Nico broke out laughing again. "You're so dead! Isn't Spike terrifying?"

I blinked. He was looking to my right, but when I looked where he was watching, I saw nothing but the front wall of the cabin. My first thought was 'oh my gods, there are invisible monsters now?!'

But nothing happened.

"Ummm..." I turned back to give Nico a strange look. "Where is he?"

"Right there. And there's another one over here."

I stared at where he was pointing. I squinted really hard, but I just couldn't find anything. Really, I felt like running my sword through Nico himself if he didn't tell me what was going on. I opened my mouth to speak, but was cut off by someone else yelling.

"He got out!"

The next thing I know, Annabeth and Grover were running toward Nico, who laughed again and ran off behind the Poseidon cabin, probably sprinting away for his life. Annabeth followed, shouting random threats. Grover stopped, scratching his head and laughing nervously when he saw me. The satyr clomped over and stared at the direction the two half-bloods ran.

I gave him a weird look as well. He sighed. "Nico fell and hit his head."

"Ah." That's better than what I figured. Giving him a pat on the shoulder, I made my way back into the cabin, closing the door on Grover behind me.

The last thing I heard before collapsing on my bed was Annabeth, shouting somewhere in the distance.

"Grover! Grab the straitjacket!"
