Heero's Confession
"Hello?" Duo asked, answering the phone.
"Hey, it's me--"
"Heero?" Duo asked, cutting him off.
"Yeah it's me, listen...I had a dream about you last night..."
"And...?"
"Here," sighed the 01 pilot, "things are so much easier when turned into song."
Duo laughed nervously as Heero began to sing.
"During my dream, darling, you were like a god,
You were so muscular, and your shoulders were broad,
You rode up to me on your large white horse,
But thanks to me, the tables turned, of course.
I was the prince, doing to take you away,
And I did plan on marrying you one day,
I went up to the tower, hoping you were there,
I called out to you, you got up from your chair,
I cried 'Duo-punzel, Duo-punzel, let down your long hair!',
But after you did, I couldn't quite reach up there,
Then all of a sudden, your braid grew long,
I climbed up to the tower to see you were gone,
It wasn't that you were gone, it wasn't fake,
But you were gone because I was now awake,
So let me ask you, Duo, how do you truely feel?
Do you think I'm just a friend, or do I have sex appeal?"
Heero finished his song, slightly painting. Laughter rang on the other end. Heero had shared his dream with all of the other pilots. He hung up and started grumbling about never sharing his dreams again.
