I've never tried a X-Men fanfic, but have always wanted to. So this is me giving it a whirl. Let me know if it's no good, or what-not. I'm always up for critique, criticism, help, etc.

Have you ever had the feeling that you were being watch or followed? Well that's what I'm currently feeling, followed.

For some reason I always have the feeling that I'm being followed, other times I ignore it but not today. The person that was following me was bad and stronger than me, other times I could probably take them but this person was different.

I blinked rapidly and began to notice that more people started to follow me, I began to walk faster. I knew that if I got in a fight with whoever was following me I would lose, hands down.

The air shifted and suddenly I went flying through the air and I landed on a building wall. I groaned and looked up and I saw a tall man with brown hair. I glared at him and stood up; he's not a human!

My eyes were probably blazing with anger, my hands started to spark fire. The man who pushed me smirked confidently and moved closer to me. He grabbed two katana's from his back and came running towards me.

Smiling confidently my claws came out my knuckles and I ran towards him as well. He swung his sword and I dunked and stabbed him in the shoulder with my claws. He roared in pain and swung again, it cut my shoulder but I healed quickly.

He was about to attack me again when seven other people came out. One of them dressed in a military suit.

The guy that attacked me grabbed his shoulder in pain and backed away. My claws disappeared and I crossed my arms in front of my chest.

"Hello I'm Major William Stryker"

"And…?"

"I am building up a special team with people like you"

"Like with powers and stuff?"

"Yes, a team where you don't have to hide your ability"

"Why are you telling me this?"

"Would you like to join?"

I knew that things like these wouldn't end well, but the idea of being with people like me made it a tiny bit better. I knew that I would regret this later but I knew what I wanted.

"…Yes"
