Shawn dances back a few steps and turns his phone this way and that, trying to get the best angle. He beams, looking as proud as if he's watching his child take its first steps-and this might very well be as close as he gets to that particular scenario, because him with kids? It's hardly likely- and bounces excitedly on his toes. "Come on, Lassifrass! At least try for a smile!"

Lassie's growl is loud enough that Shawn wonders if it'll be audible on the video, but then Lassie's wobbling and the expressions that flicker across his face are a masterpiece of human emotion. The man should be in a museum. Maybe hanging next to the Mona Lisa in the Lube. The Luge? Whatever. Some big museum in France...or is it Italy?

Wherever he belongs, it doesn't matter, because while Shawn was busy thinking, Lassie was busy falling, and he snaps back to himself just in time to dart forward and make things worse. He collides with Lassie, their limbs tangling together, and Lassie slams down onto the concrete with Shawn sprawled out on top of him. Shawn wriggles a little, making himself comfortable, and Lassie grunts and shoves him off.

"You and your bright ideas," Lassie grumbles as he rolls over onto his knees. Shawn moves to take his arm and help him, but he pushes him away and ends up nearly toppling forward onto his face. He glares at Shawn when he finally manages to get back on his feet, which threaten to shoot out from underneath him at any moment. "Never. Again."

Shawn waves away Lassie's irritation and snaps another picture that'll be perfect as a new background for his phone. "Aw, don't be like that, Lassipants." He ignores the scathing look Lassie's giving him and takes his hand when the rollerblades he's wearing nearly send him to the ground again. "Have I ever told you how hot you look in knee pads?"
