A/N: This is my first one-shot and Minecraft story, if it does well and you guys want, I might make this into a story with chapters.
Origins of Zombie Pigmen
A long time ago, in the beginning of the creation of the world of Minecraft, also known as the years of generation, lived pigs yes they were just normal pigs. However years passed, they evolved into more clever beings, these were the Pigmen. They're body build looked a lot like the Steve we know today, but they still looked like pigs.
These Pigmen were the masters of the world, they used wool from the sheep, to clothe themselves. Even the monsters we know today had respect for them, in other words, the Pigmen were happy.
Pigmen realized they could make tools from trees, and then mine stone, and then they could get an upgrade! Pigmen brains began to grow the more they lived, until one day, when a Pigman had killed another, so he could steal his stuff. This Pigman was thrown out of the small forest they lived in, even the monsters hated him, and the animals too. The Pigman began to attack animals for their food, at first the animals would just stand still and die, but in the years it changed, they began to run away. The monsters began to attack the Pigman at night when he was sleeping, this made the Pigman to stay up whenever it was night, and rest in day. This lone Pigman evolved to what we know as Steve.
What happen to the other Pigmen? Well, one of them found diamonds, another found obsidian, the cleverest found out, how to build a nether portal. They abandon their mines and villages to enter the Nether. Inside the Nether were Ghasts, a creature that was banished by Notch. These Ghasts had taken over the Nether, as soon the pigmen had entered, they destroyed the portal. The Ghast king came and looked at the puny Pigmen.
"These puny creatures will be banished from the other world, just like us, every creature of them that is born, shall suffer from serious injuries that you normally would die off!" The Ghast began to shoot fire balls at them, the other Ghasts joined the king. This caused the Pigmen to lose a lot of their flesh, a part of their skull could be seen. Everytime a Pigman is born, he doesn't look like a Zombie Pigman, but the Ghasts come and injury the new born.
Ever since Pigmen have been known as Zombie Pigmen, they have longed for the other world, sometimes Steve has offered them to come to the other world with his portal, yet they still hate Steve, who is the descendant of the Pigman that murdered his own kind, the Zombie Pigmen try to act like they have nothing against him, since it was his ancestor who killed, but as soon Steve attacks, they realize he is just as bad as his ancestor. After a while they forgive, because he would just come kill them more if they didn't.
