So rudely roused from his sleep,
The Cerulean males eyes drifted open, causing him to wince lightly and quickly close his eyes at the sudden assault on his eyes. The little slivers of light slipped into his bedroom, shinning directly onto his face...but of course he would wake up in such a befitting manner as this.
"Hn..." Was his only response as he slowly lifted his arm, shielding his eyes from view. He lay there in silence, mulling over various options before he was forced to begin his day. He unlike most people was NOT a morning person. Actually he abhorred being woken when that blasted sun was in the sky. He was more of a night being.
He lay still for what seemed like hours, but in truth it was merely minutes. Tilting his head back, his mouth fell open with a yawn, his fangs slipping out of their sheaths, thickening slightly. He stretched his arms over his head, keeping his eyes closed to protect the delicate orbs from the light before he began to arch his back. The muscles in his chest and stomach rippling with his movements, just before he growled, wanting to take no more of the sunlight, the male rolled over onto his stomach. The thin sheet he wore around his waist, dipping low, revealing the the gentle curve of his lower back.
The muscles rippled and shifted as he cracked his shoulders, groaning lightly before he buried his face in the lily white pillow, taking in the scent of the morning. Hating the sun did not mean he could not enjoy the morning scent. It was beautiful. The Hunter had indeed changed, his morning routine did not used to consist of this. He...rather enjoyed such things now.
It was then that his arm strangely swept out, running over the space beside him that he lifted his head, his eyes flicking open before he looked over at the empty space that no one slept in. His eyes filled with a deep longing, feeling something stirring deep inside his person, he knew it was his Devil. Both of them wanting someone in their life...it did not have to be a mate...it did not have to even be an enemy. All he wanted was someone to be there for him...
To...care for him...
Was that so wrong?
