I see a window
But I am chained to the floor
The light is very dim
I can't even see the door
Isolated from my friends
My knife is on the ground
I'm starting to go crazy
I flinch at every sound
My throat is parched
I refuse to eat
My body gets thinner
My heart barely beats
The door slowly opens
The light hurts my eyes
My savior has finally come
In time to watch me die

Wow, this poem is just...wow. It is so beautifully written that the morbid factor even seems to come to like a song.
