"Please Sakura-chan?"

"NO! NO! NO! How many times do I have to tell you that I don't like you that way?!"

Naruto hung his head as Sakura walked away, muttering about baka teammates.

Hinata shook her head and continued eating her bowl of miso ramen. Naruto came in seconds later. He sat down next to her and ordered some beef ramen.

"Hello, Naruto."

"Oh, Hinata! I didn't see you there," he answered scratching the back of his neck.

"Hn."

"Are you okay, Hinata?"

"Yes, I'm fine," she answered finishing her bowl. "I'll be seeing you around."

Naruto reached out and held onto Hinata's wrist, "How about I treat you to a bowl of ramen?"

Once, years ago, she would have died for this. But now that she was older and more mature, Hinata realized that she didn't love him like she used to. Don't get her wrong, Naruto, at 20 years old, was a gorgeous and caring man as well as a great ninja. He... just didn't do it for her anymore, not like it used to be.

"No thanks, Naruto. I'm quite full," she sent a small smile his way before gently prying his fingers off her wrist.

"Rejection after rejection, eh Hinata?" Naruto whispered.

She turned to him. Her eyes flashing a little anger. But Hinata managed to control it.

"Why do you think Sakura says no to you so much? It's because despite all your boasting, you're still as childish as ever. You haven't grown up deep inside. And while some people love that about you, Sakura, she needs someone different."

"I can be different," Naruto pouted feeling even more down.

Hinata pursed her lips, "Yes, you can change. But you need to figure out how it is you have to change. If it's for Sakura, then you need to figure out what it is that she wants. What it is that she's looking for."

He stared up at her, his big blue eyes wide and innocent, "But, I don't know how..."

"I'll help you, Naruto. I'll teach you everything you need to know in how to be the ideal man for Sakura."

Hello and thanks for reading this short (extremely so) teaser. I'm already working on the next chapter, not sure when it'll come out but worry not, it will come out. I already have most of the story outlined, just need to flesh it out and whatnot. Now, I think it's pretty obvious that the story is AU and that Hinata (among other characters) will be OOC so no flames for that please. And pretty please do review my story. I would very much appreciate that.
