Song is 'My Guy' by Mary Wells.
I do not own Doctor Who, ect.
"Where are we going, Doctor?" River asked for the fourth time.
"Spoilers." He said, yet again, fighting a laugh afterwards. River crossed her arms sternly, but when the TARDIS jerked, her arms flew to the railing that she had been leaning against.
"You did that one purpose!" She huffed, her annoyance easily heard.
"She did that one herself." He walked to the other side of the main console.
"Would you just tell me where we're going! I already have a blindfold on! It's killing me, Doctor!" River said, this time keeping both her hands on the rail when the TARDIS jerked again. "Oh, just hit the stabilizers, would you?" But instead of obliging, he merely stated.
"It's not as exciting with the stabilizers on."
"Ohh... If i hadn't promised to keep this thing on, so help me, Doctor, i'd-"
"We're here!" he shouted.
"Environment checks." She said out of habit, though she heard the TARDIS doors open. Mere seconds later her upper arm was grabbed and she was pulled through the doors, herself. He guided her through what felt like grass(thank goodness she'd taken he shoes off)for a while, then stopped.
"Here we are, Doctor Song!" The Doctor said in a sing-songy voice.
"Amazing, now can i take the blindfold off?"
"Oh! Yeah, that thing..." And she felt the blindfold slip off of her eyes. What she saw in front of her about made her jaw drop.
"A picnic?" She breathed. "It's beautiful!" In front of them, a large checkerboard blanket was laid neatly on the ground, and on it a large picnic basket sat open, showing sandwiches and other things she recognized from inside the TARDIS.
"Ascot. Great weather, right?" he said excitedly. She tore her eyes from the lovely sight in front of her to look at him. The Doctor felt her arms thrown around his neck and he froze, shocked. After a few minutes, he wrapped an arm around her waist, but then she released him.
"It's perfect!" But the smile she gave him was prettier than the entire planet that they were standing on.
As a matter of opinion I think he's tops
My opinion is he's the cream of the crop
As a matter of taste to be exact
He's my ideal as a matter of fact
No muscle bound man
Could take my hand from my guy
No handsome face
Could ever take the place of my guy
He may not be a movie star
But when it comes to being happy we are
There's not a man today
Who could take me away from my guy
