"Papa, where is mama?" A silver haired boy asked as his lavender eyes shinned with curiosity.
His father simply looked at him with his blank brown eyes before he spoke, "She's gone, Akihiko." Gone and will never return.
"Will mama come back, papa?" The boy asked, titling his head while he looked at his father.
"She's never going to come back Akihiko."
"Why?"
"She left us, together with another man."
Back at then, Akihiko never understood what his father meant but, now as he grew older, he came to understand what his father meant. His mother was gone, for good.
"Leave! Leave this house and never show your ugly face here, whore!" A man, sounding familiarly like his father, shouted.
"I will!" The woman sobbed, and before long a loud banging sound erupted, causing everyone in the mansion to wake from their sleep.
The silver haired boy, who was awake all this time, peeked from his room to see his father who sat on a sofa while he sobbed softly.
It was the first time he saw his father cry. His father was a strong man. He never showed a tear even at his grandfather's funeral. He remained firm and stoic even to him, his family. His father was like a rock—unbreakable. But, when his mother one day brought a man to their house, his father started to change.
He became stricter, more quite and less fatherly. Before, his father showed him small gestures that he cared like smiling towards him each time he went home from school. But, now he doesn't smile at him instead he frowns and ignores him like he never existed.
And before long the home he thought was home became nothing but, a place of constant shouting and bickering. His mother left long after their huge fight and never came back.
"Usagi-san, is something the matter?" The brunette haired boy asked in worry, causing Akihiko to stop his train of thoughts.
The silver haired man merely smiled at his lover's worried face. "It's nothing."
"Really?"
He chuckled, "Yes, really." He paused to look into his love's emerald eyes. "Misaki, can you come over here for a second?"
The brunette looked at him suspiciously wondering if his lover had any hidden intent, seeing none he followed albeit, meekly. As soon as he walked closer to Akihiko, his lover suddenly wrapped his arms tightly yet, tenderly at him. As if he was afraid that the boy would leave him like his mother did.
"Usagi-san?"
"Hmm…?"
"Are you sick? Do you feel ill or something?"
Again the silver haired laughed softly, enjoying his lover's worried state. "It's nothing. I'm just thinking about certain things… Like home."
"Do you miss your home, Usagi-san?"
The silver man shook his head no, before dropping a soft kiss on his confused lover's forehead. "I don't miss my home, Misaki." A pause, "Because I'm already at my home, love."
