A/N Well, this is not my best work but read it anyway!
Disclaimer: I do not own Bones. yada, yada, yada.
"Booth!" Brennon shouted, "Booth! Come on! Hurry!" Why is he just standing there looking around? "Booth! We don't have much time!" Finally he began running for the helicopter. He jumped in and the pilot took off.
Temperance pulled Booth into a tight hug and sobbed into his shoulder. "I thought I lost you." He hugged her back. "It's alright, Bones. You made it in time. Thank-you."
Brennon pulled back slightly to look into his eyes, "You're welcome." Without thinking she brought her lips to his. Booth was surprised but eagerly kissed her back. They pulled apart, after several moments, breathless and staring into eachothers eyes.
"How'd you get out of there by yourself, Booth?" Brennon asked. Booth grinned and asked, "Whoever said I did it by myself, Bones?" She gave him a confused look before looking out the window at the passing clouds, knowing he would answer when ready. After several comfortable minutes the helicopter landed at the Jeffersonian Institute.
"Who's that?" Booth asked as he watched the gravedigger get taken away by the police. Brennon smiled. "The gravedigger." Booth looked at her in shock. "The gravedigger is a wo-," he looked at the look on Bones' face and changed what he was saying, "worker for the F.B.I." He tried to find a change of subject. "Ouch who gave her that bruise on her head?" She grinned "Me!" Booth laughed and gave her a peck on the lips. "That's my girl."
There was a squeal from the doors of the institution. Brennon and Booth turned to see Angela running towards them at full speed. Angela surprised Brennon with a hug. "Ange why are you ugging me? Booth is the one who almost died." Angela only laughed before hugging Booth. Angels skipped away leaving behind a very confused forensic anthropologist and F.B.I agent.
Booth turned to Temperance, "Okay, Bones, how did you catch the gravedigger?" She looked at him, "Well, first Vega is dead." With those words Brennon told Booth everything that had happened after he was captured. By the end of the story Booth and Bones were both sitting on the couch in Brennon's office. "Wow," was all he said.
Angela ran in squealing. "I finally got away. Ooh. I knew this would happen!" She gave them each a hug before running away. She left behind a couple. A couple everyone knew would get together eventually. Temperance Brennon and Seely Booth.
A/N Okay the ending is a little weird. Well, a lot weird. Anyways, REVIEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
