Black pulled the comforter over his small frame, snuggling into the not so comfortable air mattress. The bitter cold of the October night nipped at any exposed skin, causing the male to curl up into a ball. The tent which he slept in did not seem to have such a great insulation system. Then again, what tent did?

Why was he freezing his ass off in a tent? It was all because of his wonderful, yet strange friend, N. For N, the idea of camping in the middle of nowhere with nothing but a run down tent for shelter seemed like a fantastic idea! Black not so much. He begged N to stay home where there was a nice warm bed inside of a house that wouldn't blow away with a gust of wind. N wasn't having it. Black knew once the green haired male had his eyes set on something it was near impossible to get him to give up.

The sound of a zipper being unzipped caught Black's attention. He sat up in bed, an action he regretted immediately as the cold air hit him like a Vanillish's ice beam.

Crawling through the partially open tent door was N, taking off his shoes when inside. Black watched, partly in wonder as to why his friend wasn't in his own tent. "N?" The green haired man didn't respond, instead he stood up, knees slightly bent since he was so tall, then flopped down onto the air mattress. The next thing Black knew he was up in the air. The force from N falling on the mattress caused the air in the mattress to be mainly focused on Black's side and well, caused Black to be sent flying into the air.

A thud and a groan could be heard in the small tent. "N! What on earth are you doing?" Black asked, shivering like a leaf as he sat next to the air matress in nothing but a t-shirt and boxers with little Munna's all over.

N sat up on his knees, staring over at Black. "I'm going to sleep with you." He answered as if it was the most obvious answer in the world. "I was taught that body heat is the best way to keep warm. So, I came here to sleep with you."

Black's cheeks turned a slight pink. He knew that N didn't have any ulterior motives. N was too innocent, growing up in a castle secluded him from the sexed up media that invaded the minds of many. Black was positive N didn't have a sexual bone in his body. He was curious as to if N even held the capacity to feel attraction towards people. He sighed, climbing back into the bed. "Fine. Only for heat."

"What else would it be for?" Black sighed again, not answering his friend's question as they were soon both under the sheets of the thick blanket.

N stared at the ceiling, then turned on his side. Black cowered to the side of the bed, just managing to stay on the air mattress that was too small for two grown men. "You know Black, for us to exchange body heat and provide warmth our bodies have to be touching." Black wished that N would just go back to his tent and stop being such a smart-ass.

Black quickly turned around, reaching out and wrapping his arms around N and burying his face into the crook of the other's neck. This way, N wouldn't be able to see the massive blush that spread on his cheeks.

"Better?" He mumbled against the other's skin, green hair tickling his nose.

N gave a nod, his arms encircling around Black's body. "Yeah. Thanks." Within minutes N was asleep, his chest rising and falling with every steady breath.

Black wished that he could sleep so easily. The erratic beating of his heart was not a soothing lullaby. He pressed against N further, listening to his friends instead. And to the steady beat of the other's heart, he fell asleep.
