I'm back everyone! *dead silence* Well… I re-watched Sky High on YouTube and I HAD to make this. The only Sky High characters used are Principal Powers, Coach Boomer, Mr. Boy, Mr. Medulla, and Ron Wilson the bus driver. The rest of the characters are from Divergent. Oh, and this loosely follows the story lines of both Sky High and Divergent.

Disclaimer: I don't own any of the characters from either fandom, the powers, or anything else that might be copyrighted in here. I hardly even own the plot…

And Tris is fourteen, so Four, Eric, Shauna, etc. are sixteen.

Chapter 1

I put my hair up into a bun and pull on a gray sweater. I check my reflection in my window. Presentable. Today I start at Sky High as a freshman. I have a lot of pressure to do well, seeing as both of my parents are teachers there. My mother, Natalie, has chronokinesis, the ability to control time. My father, Andrew, has astrakinesis, the power to use astral projection.

All I can do is float a little.

With a small sigh, I grab my backpack and head down the stairs. My parents have already left to do some last-minute preparations for their classes. I walk to the bus stop alone. Nobody else in my neighborhood has powers, so I'm surprised when I see another girl sitting on a bench by the stop. She's tall, has dark skin, and choppy black hair. I sit down beside her and she smiles at me. "Hi," she says, "I'm Christina." "I'm Beatrice." She frowns a little. "You must not like that name a lot, it sounds a bit stuck-up. You should have a nickname." She states. I'm a little startled by her honesty, but I can't help but agree with her. I nod. She thinks for a bit, and then says: "Tris. Short and original." I grin. "I like it already." I reply.

Christina and I talk until the bus comes. When we step on, we're greeted by the enthusiastic driver, who says his name is Ron Wilson. I pick a seat near the back of the bus, and Christina sits next to me. The ride is fairly uneventful, until the bus veers off onto a closed road and we're heading to a bridge that's under construction. "Hey, what's the big idea?" I hear someone ask from the front. It doesn't help quell the impending panic when seatbelts spring up from nowhere, strapping everyone to their seats. And when we drive off the edge of the bridge, hysteria takes over my new schoolmates. I love heights, so I let out an exhilarated shout rather than a terrified scream. Everyone eventually calms down when they realize that the bus can apparently defy the laws of physics and fly. Yes. A flying bus. This day just keeps getting more interesting.

Yeah, I know. A short chapter. The next one will be much longer, though! Review, please!
