For Some Strange Reason
I've never, I mean NEVER done this pairing before. So tell me how it was at the end. I don't own Naruto!
Something about the jonin kunoichi that was in his clan made Fugaku go weak in his knees. He wasn't the type of person to have his heart drop to the ground for someone but she was different. He went on a few missions with the woman but she never really caught his eye.
Then of course he had to marry to insure an heir for the next generation. She seemed like the type of woman that would give up her shinobi title to raise kids. She seemed caring enough. He had to approach her so he could get to know her.
Walking to the house that he knew she was living in, which was close by, he knocked on the door. Looking around, Fugaku tried to stay calm even though it seemed a little unnatural for him to be like this. It just had to be nerves.
When the door opened, showing the raven haired beauty that was making his heart go nuts, he stared.
"Fugaku-san, welcome." She said, letting him into the house where he kicked his shoes off and followed after her to the kitchen.
Sitting down at the table, he was handed a cup of tea and a perfect view of the woman.
"What brings you here?" She asked with a smile then went on sipping her tea.
Looking at his lap, he moved his hands but he didn't know what to say. Looking up at her for a brief moment, the next in line for the leadership turned his focus on his lap again.
"Are you . . . well?" She asked again, reaching over and putting her hand across his forehead. She jumped a little at the surge of chakra but of the heat that was pouring from him. "You're sick."
Just as she started to get up, he reached up and grabbed her wrist. She turned to look at him, noticing the usual hard black orbs softened into something else. She stopped what she was going to do and sat back down. "I see."
He blinked, surprised at what she was saying. "See what?"
"You like me, don't you?" She wasn't that stupid to see the adoring look in his eyes. She could clearly see the puppy love that the man was under.
He nodded quickly and went to get a drink but was stopped by the woman.
She smiled more. "How about a dinner date tonight if it's not too much trouble?"
"Oh no, that's fine." Fugaku fumbled as he bowed to the beauty before him. He was going to be asking his friends and elderly father what he was going to do. He knew he had to treat her with respect; he was taught that from an early age.
"How about at seven then?" She inquired.
"That's fine." Fugaku said, getting up and bowing to the woman.
"Okay. Until then." She said with a wave and he marched out of the room, slipped on his sandals and practically hightailed it out of the house.
While he was running to his home, he jumped up and yelled it out to the world to know. "Uchiha, Mikoto I love you!"
I don't really see him doing that but I picture the mighty Uchiha leader being nervous with her. Please review.
