DISCLAIMER; Contrary to popular belief, I didn't make up these characters. J.K. Rowling did (or so she says..).

Her slender, simply manicured hands reached behind Harry's neck, clasping together as she moved closer, their bodies swaying in time to the soft music drifting into the open from the Great Hall. The grass underfoot was encrusted in a soft layer of damp from the cool air, leaving a film of moisture on the couple's slowly moving feet. Harry held his companion closer, encircling his arms about her waist and feeling her body against his as he thought back to tonights first sighting of his vision of loveliness.

She had descended the stairs fashionably late, the whole of the Great Hall turning to look at her as if it had been rehearsed. Her brown softly waved hair cascaded down her evenly tanned back, exposed by her midnight blue satin backless gown, which clung to her figure in all the right places yet left a little to the imagination. The dress gathered at the base of her back, accentuating the curve of her behind and holding all eyes to her as she finally came to a halt in front of Harry, taking his offered arm. Harry was of course dressed less noticeably, as men do, but he still exuded handsomeness in his black suit pants and white mans shirt (loosely buttoned, of course). The night proceeded as these things do - she danced with others but always returned to Harry's side, and eventually they tired of the lack of privacy and ventured out to the grounds, where the soft lights from the Hall played on the sloping grass and the music wafted pleasantly, bringing them to this current state of closeness.

Harry inhaled her soft perfume, and felt a sudden burst of delirious happiness. He simply would not rather be anywhere else in the world right then. The clouds parted and a shaft of moonlight beamed onto her beautiful face, their eyes meeting effortlessly as they simply took each other and they love they shared in. As they leant towards each other, becoming one in a passionate kiss, Harry was blissful in his thoughts -
'This moment is perfect.'

They broke apart and looked longingly at each other once more. Harry looked at her shyly, and took her hand in his as they took in the scene around them, before walking with a purposeful step back towards the Castle.
