Authoress' Note:

Very silly one-shot. Before you flame, I know it's not as good as my other's. I just up and did it out of nowhere.

Disclaimer: I don't own Naruto.

Always a Book

"Hm?" Anko paused in her stride, and looked skyward when she felt an awkward presence. Sitting on the roof of her house was Hatake Kakashi, whose legs were hanging limply off of the edge. Curious, she leaped on the roof beside him, making sure to keep the bag hanging of her arm in tow.

"Kakawshi?" she slurred. It was difficult to speak with dango stuffed in her mouth, but she attempted to anyway.

The man let out a heavy sigh, before turning his head her way. She raised her eyebrow at his sullen aura, but was too delighted by the taste to pay it much mind.

"Yes, Anko?" he sighed out.

Sitting beside him, she swallowed the contents in her mouth. "You say it as if you were innocent and I'm a nuisance. It's not everyday that I find a guy sitting on the roof of my house," she informed, before eating another dumpling off of its skewer. "Sho, what'sh up, Kakawshi?"

"Its always a book, Anko," he replied, disregarding her question. The man slumped his shoulders and bowed his head sadly. "It's always some fantasy, never to actually come to life…" the last part was said under his breath, as if he were ashamed.

"Hm, yeah, a book," she replied absentmindedly, swallowing nonchalantly. Suddenly, she blinked at him. "Oh, I'm sorry. Did you say something, Kakashi?"

He sighed once more in exasperation, for the person he was confiding in was paying him little to no mind. "No, no. Just forget it."

Anko raised a curious eyebrow when she saw a small orange book sitting beside his thigh. She grabbed the item, but not before discarding a skewer and reaching for another out of the bag.

The white-haired man was suddenly attentive as she did so.

"Hm… sho thish ihs what you read all the time? Jiraiya'sh little shex novelsh?" She paused to swallow and skim over a page of the book. "Wow, this stuff is pretty kinky. It's thought you a thing or two, am I right?"

"Depends. Would you like to find out?" His attitude was once again sunny, after all, it wasn't everyday that he got a chance to be laid by a hot chick.

Closing the book, Anko set it in his lap. "Treat me to dinner tomorrow, and maybe those fantasies of your will come to life." Without another words, she grabbed her bag full of dango suddenly Kakashi was alone.

He didn't mind much though, 'cause he was so gonna get laid.
