Olivia is top cop. The squad has gotten into huge trouble. Olivia must make the choice to take the blame and possible loose her job or let the squad take the hit which may mean that they all go.

Three days ago,
Cragen pushed his way past security. He was not going to let her go. She was his best detective. She was also like a daughter to him.
As Cragen opened the door with the rest of his detectives on his heels he saw something he thought he would never. Stabler's breath caught as he watched Olivia lay her badge and gun on the chief's desk.
"It was an honor to serve in the New York Police Department." She sighed before the Chief said "No, it was an honor to have you on my force."
"Olivia,"
"Its over Stabler. You are all out of trouble." Olivia said before he could say anything else.
The Chief stood and shook Olivia's hand. Without another word she turned on her heels and left.
Elliot was going to go after her but Fin grabbed his arm and shook his head.
"Chief you can't let her go. She's one of New York's finest." The first part of Cragen's sentence coming out choked.
The Chief sighed. "Don't you think that I know that. I even begged her to stay and that is something I never do. "

Present Day,
Elliot knocked on the door. No one answered. He knocked harder.
"Liv?"
Elliot waited a second and the door was opened by a man. "Can I help you?"
"Yah, I'm looking for my partner." Elliot said as he pushed his way into the apartment.
"I don't know who the hell you think you are but I order you to stop."
Elliot snorted. "You order me to stop?"
The man held out a badge like his. "NYPD. Officer Ben Shepherd."
"Ben?" Elliot heard a familiar voice.
"Liv, are you ok?" Elliot said as he grabbed her by the shoulders.
"Yes. Elliot how did you get in here and what was all the noise?" Olivia questioned.
"Um. Let's not worry about that now. So who's the freak?"
"My Partner." Olivia answered and Elliot felt his stomach twist into a knot.
