It was a Friday morning and team 7 had been called to meet at the bridge, as usual, to wait for the day's mission. They were told to meet Kakashi there at 9 am. Sakura, being an early bird was there at eight. Sasuke strolled in around 8:45.
"Morning Sakura." He said calmly with a slight grin on his face.
"You seem happy today Sasuke-kun" Sakura replied
"Well I saw that Kiba person sniffing around garbage cans with his dog, I had to laugh."
Sniggering Sakura replied, "Yeah, there's something weird about him. Have you seen Naruto?"
Sasuke leaned against the bridge tilted his head to one side and looked in the way in which he came,
"Nah, lazy morons probably forgotten to come."
The two waited there for about twenty minutes until Naruto wandered in carrying a bowl of ramen.
"GOOD MORNING SAKURA-CHAN!" He shouted from the other side of the bridge.
"You're late again idiot!"
"Awww, did you miss me?" Naruto replied with a grin on his face.
"Heh! You wish." Sasuke said under his voice.
Pulling himself up onto the side of the bridge Naruto started to eat his ramen "Yeah, well I figured I could give my self an extra ten minutes, Kakashi-sensei's always late."
Sakura nodded once, "yeah, I suppose you right."
A voice came from above them in the trees.
"Good morning." Kakashi said as he jumped down from a tree.
"You're late again" Naruto said, finishing off his ramen.
"So were you. And any way I had to help an old lady cross the road."
"Excuses again sensei?" Sakura shouted at Kakashi.
Kakashi opened up a green and red scroll, written in it was the day's mission.
"Ah, looks like it will bee a good one guys", Kakashi anounced to the team.
Naruto's eyes lit up with excitement, wandering what it was, the young ninja stared at his sensei with antisipation.
"what is it? what is it?" naruto asked kakashi almost vibrating with exitement.
"well," kakashi started "we're going back to the wave country."
"Will we get to cross the bridge this time sensei?" sakura asked.
"well, do you want to, after that fight we had on it last time."
Sasuke looked away remembering the fight, the first fight where naruto had proved to be the better fighter.
"Yeah, of course I do!" Naruto butted in, "It's named after me after all." his grin was almost the same size as his face as he bas rubbing it into sasuke.
"Well," Kakashi started again, "No time to wast, let's go."
