Pikachu had known for the longest time about Red's little crush on Green. He couldn't help but notice his owner's face turn a different color and that he acted a bit differently when Green would visit him on the mountain.
"Pika!" The little yellow Pokemon called for his owner's attention. Red turned to his partner, thinking his friend was hungry, but was shocked to find Pikachu actually trying to have a conversation with him.

"What?" Red looked confused at Pikachu. Red translated Pikachu's talk into saying something like how he should confess to Green.

"Why would I do such a thing?" Red asked, causing Pikachu to do a facepalm. How did his Pokemon even know about such a thing?

"Pikachu! Pika, pika, chu, pika, pikachu!" The yellow Pokemon explained back.

Red sighed, understanding him yet again. His little Pokemon really did want Red to confess to Green, saying it would make Red happy. Red looked off into the distance. Green was supposed to be on his way today…

"I can't tell him…" Red muttered with a sad face. Pikachu encouragingly gave him a pat on the back.

"Pika chu," He said, which translated into, 'You can do it.'

Red turned to his partner and petted the yellow mouse. Maybe, Red would be able to confess to Green, he did have support from his Pokemon after all.

With a smile, Red said, "I will."

Pikachu jumped onto Red's head and smiled, happy to finally convince his owner to do something that will benefit him.

"You two seem to be enjoying yourselves," Green's voice said from behind Red.

"Green! You're here…" Red said trying to not sound surprised.

"Did you not want me to come?" Green asked pouting, but instantly shrugged it off before Red could respond and wrapped his arm around Red's neck. Red instantly flushed.

"Don't worry, I'd come anyway since you need some type of human interaction," Green said smiling.

"Chu!" Pikachu said and both trainers turned to look at him.

"Does Pikachu want something?" Green asked Red, who knew exactly what Pikachu wanted.

"Well…" Red started. He had to build up courage to say three words to his rival. Green just stared at him while his face turned red.

"Are you getting sick, Red?" Green asked concern. If he's been up here for three years and is just barely getting sick, then it had to be something that could seriously harm Red. Red just shook his head, leaving Green even more worried.

Pikachu knew this wasn't going to go anywhere, so while Green was concerned with Red, he slowly moved behind his owner…

Red lifted his head, looking Green straight in the eyes. This was it. He would confess here and now!

"PIKA!" Pikachu shouted as he headbutt Red in the back, causing him to fall foreword, causing Green to catch him, and of course, causing both trainer's lips to meet unexpectedly.

As much as Red would have loved to stay like this, and possibly do even more, he pulled away from his rival. Both boys' faces had turned completely red. Red turned to his Pikachu, who looked proud at what he had done. Red then turned back to Green, about to apologize until he saw Green's blushing face.

Did Green also have feelings for him as well? Was his love mutual?

"Green," Red started but Green cut him off by putting his hand up to Red's lips.

"Was that what Pikachu wanted?" Green asked; Red shook his head.

"He wanted me to confess…" Red said, only shortly realizing what he said seconds later.

"A confession…to me, huh?" Green looked as if he were musing this. "Well, I think that kiss was better than a confession."

Red couldn't believe what he was hearing. Green liked the kiss? Red was to stunned to notice Green wrapping his arms around him.

"I'm glad Pikachu stays out of his Pokeball," Green whispered into Red's ear as he hugged him tighter.

"So am I," Red commented back as he hugged Green back as well.

Pikachu smiled to himself. He knew his owner would be happy.
