She knew she was different

She knew she was different.

Yet she never thought she was an outcast.

She believed that beauty came from inside.

She was average.

She offered more than she thought.

She was loyal and always willing to help.

One major flaw was that work came first.

People made fun.

People didn't care.

She never noticed because she never cared.

She took things seriously but never personally.

She never believed in herself.

No matter what her mind told her.

She was unique.

That's why people loved her.

From her red glasses to her bright braces.

Her work was of a level no one was aware of.

She wore what she wanted and not what she was told.

She had a best friend.

She had a boss.

She had a supportive family.

She had enemies.

She had her own villains to face.

Her own problems faced her everyday.

Everyone thought that she could change.

Yet they knew she was perfect on the inside.

She thought she was perfect the way she was.

Then why did she hold the gun to her head and pulled the trigger?
