"This is ridiculous, Pansy. Who in their right mind would do that?" I hiss at her.

"You're the one who said you would do anything to get out of Transfiguration!" She laughed with Crabbe and Goyle. One quick shot with my eyes and they instantly quieted. "You do that, and Crabbe, Goyle and I will create a diversion." she giggled slightly but one glare and she shut up too.

"Fine." I said through my teeth. "But what's in it for me?"

Pansy laughed harder at this. "Possibly a new girlfriend!" she said through fits of laughter.

Being paired with Ravenclaw wasn't all that bad. No Potter or Weasley's to torment was definitely the drawback.

"Do it, Draco." Pansy scolded with a smirk. I sighed heavily and got up, playing all the theatrics I knew.

"Oi. Lovegood." I sneer. Her eyes wander toward mine, and she smiles lightly. She's always smiling. One of the things that annoys me. She walks toward me; more like skips. Thing number two that annoys me.

"Hello, Draco." Luna says coolly.

"So, you know how were going to Hogsmeade tomorrow?" I say, my tone not easing, and she nods. "Come with me." I said quickly.

"Sorry. I didn't catch that." She said, tilting her head a little.

"Come with me to Hogsmeade. Be my... Date.." I say, and I hear Pansy snickering.

"Draco, I'm not-" she started but I cut her off.

"Just think about it. Please?" I utter, so that no one would hear me except her.

"Okay. I will." she said confidently. "I'll think about it. But you better hope that wrackspurts don't infest my head while I am. That wouldn't be good for either of us." she said smiling. I surprised myself when the corners of my mouth twitched slightly back. She turned on her heel and went back to her lone spot at her table. I turned away and went back to my group.

Pansy looked accomplished when she saw the slight grin on my face. I automatically went back to normalcy at the sight of her. She put her hand on the table, trying to conceal its contents from McGonagall: a dark, glimmering rock, jagged and multicolored. On one of the flatter sides was branded a capital 'W'

"A WEASLEY product? You must be mad. I'm not about to get myself blown up over Luna Lovegood." I say spitefully.

"As much as I hate to admit it, this one is actually pretty effective. You just throw it on the ground, and it'll give you a great getaway chance. I snagged it from filch." she explained. She handed it to me and I reluctantly took it.

"Your sure that I won't get blown up." i remark, ensuring the safety of the matter. She nodded. When McGonagall was turned away, the rock 'slipped' from my fingers and the whole room went black. Coughing erupted from all corners of the room and I quickly slipped out of the class.

I just asked out Luna Lovegood.

I must be mad.

Barking mad.
