This was a challenge, or well more of an idea. TheNextCullen332 said in one of reviews on 'We Meet Again' that I should do a fight from a tree's POV and I admit at first I just brushed it off, but I couldn't stop thinking about it, so here it is, with all it's treey goodness.
Disclaimer: I own nothing, not even the tree. (god owns the tree. -sigh- I have nothing)
The tree had been in this field for ages. It was a quiet life, nothing really happened around here. So this was a big change.
There were wolf-people fighting ids with wings. It was unfair, which the tree noted with disdain. There was probably about twenty five to thirty wolf-men, and six birds kids, and the youngest had to be around seven or eight at most.
'Well this is different.' The tree thought.
"Come on you freaks! Just try and fly away, we've got you boxed in!" One of the wolf-men jeered as he made a grab for one of the girl's arm.
'I think the wolfies are more freaks the the kids.' It was a random thought, but the tree knew it was true.
The tree noticed that one girl was taking on five wolf-things at once, and winning.
The tree briefly wondered if it could fight like that, but dismissed the thought when it realized it couldn't move.
'Oh that hadto hurt.' It thought when the same girl who had been taking on five wolf-people headbutted the one of them.
"Retreat, men!" one of the wolves yelled.
'Oh, well that's the end of my excitement. Nothing ever happens out this far.'
The youngest, a small blonde girl, froze, then turned around.
'Wonder what she's looking at. Maybe my barks peeling or something.'
'Is that you? Are you the tree?' The voice startled the tree, and had it been able to jump, it would have.
'Yes.' the tree answered uncertainly.
"Oh my god!" the small girl squealed, "Max! The tree just talked to me!"
"Angel, hun, have you been eating anything funny?"
"I'm serious!"
Wonderful, huh. Yeah I know it was crap, but at least now the idea will leave me alone!
