br style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);" / As Snowpaw, Silverpaw and Flamepaw pushed their way through the gorse tunnel into camp Snowpaw couldn't help wonder why he had to be small, why not the size of a normal apprentice?em style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);"Well i could use my size to my advantage/em. "But you will always be em style="-webkit-tap-highlight-color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0);"my/em kit" she retorted. Snowpaw turned his head to see Silverpaw's tail disappear into the apprentice den. "Why are you and the other apprentices back so early?" Breezescar questioned. "Ummm..." Just as Snowpaw was about to explain why he was sent back, he looked over Breezscar's shoulder to see the gorse tunnel shake, then, Graycloud pushing his way through it, holding a squirrel in his jaws. As Breezescar turned her head to see who was coming into camp, Snowpaw slithered away towards the apprentice den, just in time before his mother and Graycloud could see his black tail-tip disappear into the lichen entrance./div

Snowpaw padded over to his nest and sat down, beginning to wash his ears by licking his paw and rubbing it over them. "I'm sorry, Snowpaw" Snowpaw stopped mid-lick to look over at Silverpaw, looking at him sadly. "I know I shouldn't tease you about your height, it's just-" "It's fine" Snowpaw interrupted. "It's not your fault, or mine...I...Let's just forget it ever happened" "ok" Silverpaw replied. Snowpaw stood up and turned a few times in his nest, settled down, resting his black, bushy tail-tip over his nose and let the closing darkness of sleep overtake him./div
