Jason Cross walked through the halls of east high whistling as he looked for his Kelsi Neilson. He was turning the corner of the music hallway when he heard the sweetest piano music drifting through the walls all around him.

Jason stopped as he felt the music overpower him but just as he almost lost all contact to the real world he heard a door close and then the music stopped. Interested in why this sweet melody most likely played by his lovely girlfriend had stopped, he went to go investigate.

As he walked through a side door that was completely hidden from the rest of the room by a big brass drum. He heard voices so shutting the door quietly he listened to what Ryan Evens had to say to his girlfriend.

Kelsi Neilson sat at the piano playing the couples song for here new show. Just as she was getting to the part where the couple sang in harmony, she heard the door behind her open and close and a musical voice rang out " Hey Kelsi that was a beautiful song."

"Thanks Ryan" Kelsi said turning to face the hat wearing actor, "what are you doing here?"

"Well you see…" Ryan started pulling at his collar nervously, "well," he continued as he slid onto the bench next to Kelsi " I was wondering if you had a date to the prom?" He asked nervously looking at Kelsi to see her reaction.

"Well actually," she said frowning slightly "Well no I don't why?" she asked although she already knew why.

"Um I was wondering if you would go with me?" He said staring at the dusty keys refusing to meet her eyes. However when she didn't answer he kept going "Please Marth…I mean Kelsi please." He looked up to see she had a small smile.

"Sure Ryan" She replied smiling at him, although she was happy she was asked she just felt that something was wrong.

Jason staggered back from where he had been hiding as if he had been punched. It couldn't be Ryan couldn't have done that and Kelsi couldn't have agreed it was all a joke. But no he realized it was real and he knew it. He had to get away he finally realized he couldn't be here he had to leave, he turned around and burst through the door, sprinting down the halls. As he neared the main door he saw his friends, his teammates but no he couldn't talk to them so he ran faster running past a startled Chad, Troy, and Zeke. Finally he shot through the door got into his car and ignoring the shouts of his friends sped away. The only thing he left behind were two prom tickets floating on the breeze.
