He wasn't really sure where he was.
The storm. The storm had knocked off the power in the hospital.
Meredith was in surgery. The NICU was in need of incubators. He had a huge fight with Bailey. The last thing Richard remembered was going down to the flooded basement to check why the lights had yet to come on. He wasn't really sure what had happen after that. It was all a blur to him.
But suddenly he could hear voices around him.
He quickly sat up, noticing that the room was empty. He now knew he was at the hospital, but it had a dark and eerie appearance to it. He could still hear the voices, unsure of where they were coming from.
He stood up from the table he was at, noticing he was in a trauma room. Rounding the corner, he knew he was getting closer to the voices. He could tell there was more than one person and they were defiantly fighting.
"No, you don't understand! He does not need to stay here! He needs to go back where he is needed. The hospital will not function without him."
Quickly knowing whose voice that was, his pace quicken to the room that some of the voices were coming to. He soon found out he was right, and he knew the situation probably wouldn't end well.
The fact that Ellis Grey and his wife were together couldn't mean anything good.
"Elis, he is my husband! I want him here with me! I didn't even get to spend the last of my life with him because of that horrible disease. You should know of all people!" Adele argued.
"I've been in this situation with my daughter and I wanted the best for her, which was going back! This is no different." Ellis snapped back.
This was mind blowing for Richard because neither his wife nor Ellis was affected by the Alzheimer's. They were both completely sane. But he however wasn't surprised they were fighting. That kind of seemed like a given. But he was still unsure of where the hell he was.
"Adele…Ellis…" He said softly, hoping they would stop fighting.
Before either of them said anything else, they both turned towards him and quickly became silent. He could tell they were unsure of what to say to him by the look on their faces. It was odd for him, seeing them together. He could only imagine what it was life for the two of them to now be together. Assuming that he should, Richard decided maybe he should talk first.
"You ladies care to tell me where I am exactly?"
So I have A LOT of ideas for this story. Lemme know what y'all think? This is my first Grey's story! Thanks 3
