A Dream of May

Cassian stands in the doorway of his apartment with his backpack still over his shoulder as he begins to pull his key out of the knob. That's the moment when he hears the sound of someone near by struggling hearing this the high schooler turns his attention to the apartment down the hall where he sees Peter's Aunt May fighting to get a box through her door. Watching the struggle play out before him the dark haired youth tosses his bag into empty apartment he calls home before pushing his key back into the knob, closing and locking his door. He then walks down the hall to come to the beautiful woman's aid.

"Need some help with that?" Cassian ask fighting to keep his impulses in check. "Please." She replies with a hint of relief. She then watches as her neighbor watches her put the box down not really sure why he had decided to help her she had brought several boxes into her place countless times before.

"So where is Peter?" The brunette ask with a slight huff as he lifts the somewhat heavy box. "Peter is off doing something for this stark Internship he won." May Informs the helpful young man while him fiddle with the middle of the bulky cardboard. "Stark as in Tony Stark the Iron Man... Awesome." He replies as he finally gets the box into her apartment.

"Yes... Are you one of Peter's friends?" May ask while keeping an eye on the youth in front of her as she walks throw the door. "Kind of. We don't really get to see each other much though. Oh and by the way my name is Cassian." He tells her as he sets the somewhat heavy box down. "Nice to meet you Cassian. I'm Peter's Aunt May." She says politely. "Cool. Would you like me to help you put this... thing together?" He ask while looking over the box unsure as to its contents as he also reads a lot into May's words.

"That would be nice. Thank you. You can go get a knife from the kitchen... Oh and the box has a curio in it." She tells Cassian while he leaves the living-room and she clears some space for the pieces of her new furniture. Meanwhile Cassian pulls one of the kitchen drawers open where he finds a knife, grabs it then carefully makes his way back into the living-room to open the the box.

The youth makes quick work of opening and emptying the contents of the container. With the pieces out on display May takes the glass pieces then puts them some place where they will be safe while they construct the rest of the curio. May reads the instructions aloud while taking breaks here and there to help the young man put the furniture together. Cassian though a gentleman touches May's hand or bumps her accidentally on purpose without her even realizing what he is doing. Then after what seems like an eternity the curio is completely put together and relocated from the middle of the living-room to an empty corner. "Thank you so much Cassian. I'll be right back." She tells him as she goes to her room leaving the door wide open.

With May in full view Cassian takes it upon himself to walk over to her door then begins to walk into her room when he suddenly hears, "Cassian get your butt in here and pick up your bag! I am your mother not your maid! What are you thinkin`?"The dark haired youth turns his attention back to his open apartment door. "Yes mama." He replies knowing he is in trouble for throwing his bag in the floor but takes one last look down the hall at May who is now in her apartment.
