And you said you Sam wasn't your friend.
Yeah whatever.
You're gonna break my arm now right?
No.
. . . we should kiss?
She was really upset…
Hey, I hate you.
Hate you too.
You care about Sam.
Freddie lazily lifted his eyelids as he pushed himself up into a sitting position. His tired eyes darted across the room. It took him a few seconds to remember that he was in Carly's apartment and has just dozed off. He heard soft voices coming from the kitchen, but as he began to regain consciousness, they became clearer and louder.
"Are you coming or not?"
"Sam, come on.."
"Carly! Please, my mom's not giving me my allowance until I clean my room!"
"I thought your mom stopped giving you allowance."
"Well she did, but she's dating a doctor this week which means he has cash and it's goin' to Mama."
Freddie lifted himself off of the couch and strode into the kitchen. Carly gave him a small smile as he made his way to the refrigerator.
"Hey sleepyhead," she said with a small chuckle.
Freddie gave Carly a weak wave and pulled the refrigerator door open. He grabbed a bottle of water and sat down at the table across from Sam. He gave her a nod and took a long sip from the bottle.
"'Sup Fredwad," Sam asked with a clearly bored expression on her face.
Freddie dragged his eyes up to her heart shaped face. With her wide eyes staring into his and her long blonde curls cascading over her shoulders, she actually looked pretty.
What am I saying! Freddie thought to himself. I'm not supposed to like Sam. Get a hold of yourself Benson!
"Hello?"
Freddie's thoughts were interrupted by Sam's intimidating voice.
"Huh? Oh uh nothing." he said while lifting the bottle of water up to his lips.
Sam rolled her eyes and pushed herself away from the table. She grabbed Carly's arm and tugged her towards the Shay's front door.
"Carly are we going or not?"
Carly gave her best friend a pleading look,
"Fine Sam, but just this once."
The brunette turned towards her other friend, who was just getting up from his spot at the table,
"Freddie I'm going to Sam's house, you can hang here if you want" she said to him before walking out the door.
Freddie wasn't even listening to what she was saying. He was just trying to figure out why he couldn't get a certain blonde out of his mind.
