Disclaimer: I own NOTHING! YET I OWN EVERYTHING! I don't own Sonic, but I do own the poem itself.
There's so much I wanted to tell you,
So much I wanted to do,
But there's no way I can tell you,
How much I miss you.
I should have believed you,
When you told me the truth,
Maybe if I had believed you,
I'd still be there today.
Look at all I've missed,
In only thirteen years,
If only I'd known what was to come,
I might have changed my mind.
I'm sorry I didn't listen,
I'm sorry I didn't trust you,
I'm sorry I wasn't there,
When I was most needed by you.
I guess I didn't understand,
That night when you told me,
Maybe I misunderstood,
Maybe I just ignored it.
I didn't even know,
How proud I'd ever feel,
Of that bright eyed little girl,
I didn't know I had.
She has your eyes,
And your pretty smile,
She's so much like you,
So much I should have seen before.
Tell her that I'm sorry,
Tell her the truth,
Hold onto her for me,
And tell her that I love her.
If only I'd known,
I'd be there with you,
We'd be a family,
You, me, and her.
Please forgive me,
I've made a huge mistake,
That this time,
I can't repair.
There's so much I wanted to tell you,
So much I wanted to do,
But there's no way I can tell you,
How much I miss you.
Just a little poem for a story. This'll be around for a while. Then I'll explain it when the time comes.
