Don't get too excited - I'm only trying to consolidate a few bits I've written on Tumblr, usually thanks to one of Terrie's prompts/challenges. I figured I should really keep them in one place somewhere.
These are independent 100-word drabbles. They're not connected to each other and range wildly from canon S1 to AU fics. They may not always make sense without the accompanying graphic from Tumblr, by the way.
What's In a Name?
Their dream was as modest, yet impossibly out of reach, as that of a destitute child who dreamt nightly of chocolate delights she had only glimpsed.
They rarely spoke of it, but it was in every smile, every glance, and every touch. It hovered over their stolen moments together, sometimes a dark imp playing at the edges, and sometimes the faint light on the horizon.
It was silly, perhaps, to consider what they'd sacrificed for just a name. But when they finally walked in full daylight, their arms proudly linked together, those five letters held the worth of the world.
