Zoey Brooks has never been the type to go after boys. They usually come to her, so she's never had to try. But now, there is one boy that she really likes, but he isn't coming to her.
Zoey Brooks doesn't know how to go after a guy, in Nicole's words. So, how can she 'go after' Chase Matthews? She can't. Nicole told her it wasn't that hard, but Zoey thought it was.
Zoey Brooks likes Chase Matthews, but he isn't coming after her. Does that mean he doesn't like her? Should she try anyway?

Nicole Bristow has always been boy crazy. She's never been afraid to just ask a guy out. Boys don't strike her as complicated, like they do some girls.
Nicole Bristow has read the magazine articles about boys. She knows all there is to know. But that doesn't mean much.
Nicole Bristow isn't worried about boys. So some magazine says that guys like it better if you wait for them to ask you out. She would rather just ask then wait around. Especially if the waiting never ends.
Nicole Bristow has had many boyfriends. When she got sent to that all-girls school, that didn't make her stop thinking about them. As soon as she gets out of there, she'll be back to her old ways.
Nicole Bristow doesn't let boys opinions bother her in the least.

Dana Cruz is a very tough girl. She can do just about anything. From sports to school work, she doesn't have to try hard to do well.
Dana Cruz can beat Logan Reese in anything she feels the need to. Basketball, academics, and just being herself. When she's around, he doesn't stand a chance.
Dana Cruz left after eighth grade. She never thought she'd miss anyone at PCA as much as she missed Logan.
Dana Cruz missed beating Logan in everything. She missed their fights, and even his 'wanna make-out?' phrase. But she knows he wound never give her a second glance, because she's not blond.
Dana Cruz has never missed someone as much as she misses Logan Reese.

Quinn Pensky has always been book-smart. She can tell you just about anything about science. She knows everything about how things work.
Quinn Pensky can create a quinnvention in record time. Her inventions can do just about anything. She knows how to make everything a person could ever need.
Quinn Pensky doesn't miss Mark. Mark Delfigalo just didn't understand her love of science. He was more interested in his salami than her. She has moved past him now.
Quinn Pensky knows that Logan tries to understand her science talk. She can't expect him too, but she's glad that he pretends. She knows that he still may have some feelings for Dana, but she's not going to be the one to bring it up.
Quinn Pensky isn't sure if Logan Reese is the right boy for her.

Lola Martinez is a very good actress. She can perform just about anything. She knows she's good at acting. She also knows that she's not good at sports.
Lola Martinez does like Vince Blake. But she's just not sure if she could stand it if he became a professional football player. Yes, he's good, but she's just not sure.
Lola Martinez wonders about things. She wonders if Vince would miss a movie she was in just because of a football game. She wonders if they will actually work out anyways.
Lola Martinez is very confused about her feelings toward Vince Blake.
