Sjin brought some girl over today. I'd like to say that it made me feel nothing but that would be a lie... A very bad lie. I've never felt this much jealousy before.
When he introduced us, he told me he found her in the Nether. In the Nether?! All I could think about was why. There's nothing but lava and death there so why would a girl just be hanging around in such a place? Sounds sketchy to me.
Anyway, we shook hands and she expressed her happiness to meet me. Of course, I felt everything but happiness but welcomed her anyway. I couldn't just push her away without logical reason and I'd be damned if Sjin finds out how I feel this way by blowing up on her.
After our meeting, he showed her around our complex and I followed behind. Admittedly, she was really nice but she picked the wrong person to be nice to. If she wanted to go be nice to Duncan, Rythian or even Simon and Lewis, that would have been fine but she found the one person who I care about and that made me angry.
Finally, he finished showing her around here and they were on their way out. Good riddance, I thought. Of course, she would still be hanging around all alone with him at the farm. That very thought nearly killed me. As Sjin went ahead, she stayed back and shook my hand. I really wondered why I was being tortured like this until she leaned in close and spoke in my ear. "You're pretty transparent. I'm surprised Sjin hasn't realized yet. Don't worry, I've got no intention of taking him from you. I'm actually rooting for you. Wishing you luck, Sips."
She left me there, my mouth agape. She knew all along. Was I really that easy to see through? I really must have been, or maybe girls just have a higher awareness of these things. All I know is I felt an incredible amount of embarrassment now. Well, at least my jealousy was gone.
