Summary: They go through each day as hated enemies, but at night, things are so very different. (slash)
Disclaimer: Kaboot doesn't own Pokemon.
Warning: More Poke-Slash! ;; (Another short one, too...)
During the day, they play the role of the bitterest of enemies. But under the cover of night's darkness, they will always find themselves together, and it is then they shed the title of 'enemies.' They share gentle kisses and warm hugs and pretend that they will never have to do battle again.
One late night, summoning up all his courage, Pikachu asks Mewoth to come and join him and Ash on their adventures, rather than continue a life of crime with Team Rocket. Eyes shut tight, the electric mouse awaits Meowth's answer. Before any reply comes, however, Pikachu felt a rough, sand paper-like tongue brush against his cheek.
"You little twoi'p. Ya know da chances of me leavin' Jessie and James are about as good as you leavin' Ash," Meowth chuckles. Then, noticing the look of despair on Pikachu's face, he adds, "I'm sorry."
"Pika pi... Chu, pikachu, pikaaa," the electric-type replies. 'It's okay... I understand, but you can't blame me for trying.' Meowth grins and kisses Pikachu on top of his head. He whispers something to the little pokemon, one of the few rare 'I love you's he'll allow himself to say.
They live in a fantasy world at night, a place where their past and future conflicts can be forgotten. But once daylight begins to creep into the sky, they return to their lives as enemies. They will fight each other with all the strength they have, but all the while they are awaiting the darkness of night and the chance to be together once again.
For future reference, I've a name for this shipping now. My friend Shadows in the Light has come up with the term 'Truceshipping', and I really like it.
Thanks for reading! And as I said above, I realize this is pretty short. But don't worry, I've a big Poke-Project in the works to make up for it.
