She left without leavin' a number
Said she needed to clear her mind

It had been almostthree months since she had left Vegas. She had put in for a 3 month leave. She had needed to leave. She couldn't take the stress that was coming from the job and everyone around her. It felt like her world was crashing down on her. The hardest person to leave was Nick. Ever since his incident they had grown closer and been there for each other. They loved each other. But she needed to leave so she did. She know it had effected him. But know she's back. In her old apartment and worried of what Nick thinks of her.

He figured she'd gone back to San Francisco
'Cause she talked about it all the time
It was almost six months before she called him up
Three rings and an answering machine is what she got

If you're callin' 'bout the car I sold it
If this is Tuesday night I'm out with Warrick
If you've got somethin' to sell, you're wastin' your time, I'm not
buyin'
If it's anybody else, wait for the tone,
You know what to do
And P.S. if this is Sara, I still love you

The telephone fell to the counter
She heard but she couldn't believe
What kind of man would hang on that long
What kind of love that must be
She waited three days, and then she tried again
She didn't know what she'd say,
But she heard three rings and then

(outside Nick's apartment)

If it's Friday night I'm working a double
And first thing Saturday, if it don't rain
I'm headed out to the lake
And I'll be gone, all weekend long
But I'll call you back when I get home
On Sunday afternoon
And P.S. If this is Sara, I still love you

Well, this time she left her cell number
But not another word
Then she waited outside his apartment on Sunday evenin'
And this is what he heard"If you're callin' 'bout my heart
It's still yours
I should've listened to it a little more
Then it wouldn't have taken me so long to know where I belong
And by the way, cowboy, this is no machine you're talkin' to
Can't you tell, this is Sara, and I still love you

I still love you"

"Please open the door! I ready to come back!" Sara said those few word into the phone before the door swung open and Nick pulled her into his arms. If it were up to the two of then neither would have let go.

Nick pulled way, "I've missed you so much, Sar. Never leave me again! I love you!"

"Never, Nicky, never." As Sara finished Nick gently pulled he into a gentle kiss.
