"That's it. I'm tired of being bossed around I'm leaving!" I said as I furiously walked out the door. My name is Cody. I'm 15 and I'm on an airplane flight to California. I'm tired with my life. I'm tired of being little Mr. Smart guy or goody to shoes. I want excitement so that's why I'm going to California.

Once I got off of the plane I didn't know what I could do. I just grabbed my luggage and started to walk the streets. I must have been walking really slowly because some kid on a skateboard came flying past me. At the speed he was going it made me look like I was not walking at all. Then before I could relies what just happened he jumped off of the cliff.

I was so shocked that I just stood there. Does anyone else see that guy jump off of that cliff? I thought. Then I ran, leaving my luggage, to see if he was ok. It was not a big deal because below there was a big inflatable rectangle with another person on the other side. Once he landed the kid on the opposite side flew of like 50 feet in the air and fell straight down in the water making and atomic splash.

I got so excited on how courageous they were that I ran all the way to where they were standing luggage in hand and all. "Hey you guys. Can I try?

"You think you got what it takes to be one of us?" they replied.

"Well I did pass 8th grade with distinguished an-"

"No I mean are you courageous to do stupid stunts."

"Well let me try." then I took the skateboard out of his hands and did just as the other guy did except what I did was better. Once I jumped off of the cliff I did a couple of tricks and landed straight in the middle leaving the other guy flying into the night,

"Umm. Do you think he will come back?" I asked curiously

"Probably not" they answered." but dude you do have what it takes to be one of us. Meet us at this address in 3 hours." and they walked away. Alright, I thought, I have California friends' can't wait to see what they have in store for me. But where would I go in the meantime? Then I started walking in any direction that I thought was reasonable.
