Summary: [One Shot Fic] Ok so I've realised I can't write long stories so I'm back to my original One Shot Fics. Two old lovers come face to face again and realize somethings that have always been there.

The blonde looked to her right and to her left at the train station. "Where the heck is he?" she breathed. Then her eyes drifted to the man standing in front of her. Of course nothing about him had changed in the 20 some odd years they hadn't seen each other. How could they? He was an eternal child of darkness, and she was his princess of light. Although her being pure was completely out of thought, she brought him so much sunshine. Sunshine he hadnt seen for centuries.

He took her bags and she smiled. Always the big tough strong man. The sun had just recently set and his convertible was parked in front of the train station. He pushed the luggage into the trunk then went to open the door for her. Before he reached her she opened her own door and got in. "Right..right...chivalry's dead huh?" She shook her head yes and leaned over opening the door for him.

His hands slid across the leather of the car and met her own soft delicate hands that although all of her battles had never wavered in their softness. He brought them to his lips and she smiled once again. She hadn't smiled this much in years and neither had he. She leaned over and took his lips in hers and held them for a second. "I love you ---" the music that came from another car drowned out the name that slid off of her tongue.

He kept one hand on the wheel and another intwined in hers. They drove to a court house and she nodded. Everything was right between them finally. He'd loved others, 2 others in fact but none had come close to his love for her. She'd loved others, 2 others also and one had come close to the special meaning of their relationship but it had been to good to last and the other was uncomparable.

She looked beautiful in her mothers old wedding dress. It held great sentimental value to her and he knew it. He'd always liked Joyce although if she liked him, or just pittied him, the thought always haunted him. She held her hand tight as the justice of the peace began to tell them to recite their vows. They both answered "I Do" to the vows and began to walk off together.

While they were in the car a song came on the radio and she began to cry it was their song. He pulled the car over and they got out. They began to slow dance to the song.

Dreamin', I must be dreamin'
or am I really lyin' here with you?
Baby, you take me in your arms,
and though I'm wide awake
I know my dream is comin' true.

And, oh, I just fall in love again;
just one thought and then it happens every time.
And there I go, I just fall in love again,
and when I do can't help myself
I fall in love with you.

Magic, it must be magic,
the way I hold you and the night just seems to fly.
Easy for you to take me to a star.
Heaven is that moment when I look into your eyes.

Can't help myself I fall in love with you.

As the song ended, they held each other close. They knew it was right. A figure stood behind the building looming infront of them. Her old love watched as he let her slip away from him, and this time forever. He had always been jealous of their love and the way they seemed to understand and need each other and now it burned in his soul forever. For they were each other's, forever now.
