I alway felt bad for poor David. And when I came up with this idea, I knew it would bug me until I wrote it down. So, here you go.

Disclaimer-I own nothing except for the bubblegum flavored lip balm in my room.

As always, reviews are appreciated.

((No! No!)) I heard David sob.

((He has now been in morph 98 percent of time.)) Ax reported.

((You guys aren't actually going to do this, are you? This is all just a joke, right?)) His eyes were wide with fear.

We did not answer.

((Right?)) He pleaded. ((Please say right.))

((98.5% of time.))

((I'm sorry! I'll do whatever you want! Just don't do this to me! Ax, Rachel, I mean come on!))

I covered my ears-but forgot that thought-speak cannot be blocked out. Why me? For once couldn't Jake have picked someone else to be the brave one? Just once!

((Okay! Okay! You win!)) He said, ((I get it, enough already!))

Why me?

((I was just kidding, I would have never really have tried to kill you, or hand you guys over to Visser Three! I thought you knew, I was playing the whole time!))

Playing, right.

Would this ever end? When would this be over! I couldn't take it anymore! Just please, make it stop!

((Time is up.)) Ax announced.

((NOOOOOOOOO!)) He screamed. ((You can't judge me! I have a life too, you know. I'll get you someday for this! I will get my revenge! I'll kill you all! Mark my words, Animorphs: You will rue this day!))

We put him on the boat gently.

((Rachel,)) said Ax, ((I think…I think I never want to speak of this again.))

I nodded. "Me too, Ax. Me too." But even as we left, I could still hear his cry. I wasn't sure if it was his actual thing, or if his voice was just stuck in my head. ((No! No! NOOOOOOOO!)) The cry that I knew would haunt me for the rest of my life . . . .
