Hey guys. Sorry it took me so long to get this up. I just haven't been much into writing it yet. Lol. So anyway, this is the new story, or remake or whatever you want to call it. Enjoy!
And another thing, I might change the POV from time to time, but most of this is probably gonna be in Miley's POV.
This is the remake to "Who's it gonna be?" I deleted that story and replaced it with this one. : )

Chapter 1
Miley's POV
I looked into his sea green eyes, lost in my own world. I didn't want to hear what I was hearing. It just wasn't right. Wasn't fair. Wasn't...wasn't...
"Miley? Mileeeyyy? MILEY!" I heard his perfect voice calling my name. I reluctantly pulled myself out of my own world to come back to the real world.
"What? Oh, sorry Jake. It's just that I...I..." I stopped. I couldn't say what I was about to say. It hurt too much.
"You what?"
I sighed. I was too stressed and upset for this. I couldn't make things worse. "Nothing." I looked up with sad eyes. He looked away. I didn't know what to think of that. It started to worry me. Maybe he only took that job because he didn't like me and knew I like him? No, that couldn't be right. He kissed me...
Jake's POV
"What? Oh sorry Jake. It's just that I...I..." Miley stopped there. She sounded like she wanted to say something. Something important. Maybe something that starts with "I" and ends with "love you"...
"You what?" I asked her. Yes, I sounded eager. Because I was.
She sighed heavily and said, "Nothing." No! She was gonna say it, I know she was! She looked up into my eyes. I only held the gaze for about half a second. I had to look away. She looked miserable. Her eyes...they looked so sad...I couldn't take it.
"Jake..." she said my name. I turned to her.
"Y-" I couldn't even respond. Her lips met mine. It was the perfect kiss. And for about half a minute, I forgot I was even leaving. Forgot I wouldn't be able to do this for six whole months. Forgot everything.
Miley's POV
The kiss was perfect. And for half a minute, I didn't even remember he was leaving. It was so...so...surreal. But as soon as I pulled away, all was lost again.
