Logan walked the empty halls of Start Tower, everyone else being at another stupid party. Or so he thought. He stopped and sniffed the air, relaxing when the familiar scent was the only thing around.
"No point in hiding kid, I know your here."There was an annoyed huff before a young girl appeared next to him.
"Your the person I want to scare most, and the only one that i can't."She grumbled falling in behind him.
"You might as well move on to someone else, you're not going to get me."Alex perked up and caught up to him.
"Challenge accepted" she said, cracking her knuckles. Logan shook his head, a hint of a smile on his lips.
"So why aren't you at the party?"she asked now skipping to try and keep pace with him. His eyes were fixed in front of him as he spoke which made it easy for Alex to turn invisible and slip into one of the rooms.
"Parties are stupid."There was no response as Logan walked, now by himself. Not that he noticed. Suddenly his nose was invaded with a very strong scent of perfume. Serena's perfume. He turned his head expecting to see the young blonde behind him, but there was nothing. He turned back and started walking the scent now coming from all directions making it impossible for him to track it's starting location. He wasn't used to not being able to tell when people were around him. His heart started beating faster in anticipation.
"Where the hell are you Alex!"He yelled to nowhere in particular.
"Boo."Her breath was hot on his ear. He jumped, his claws breaking through his skin and through the now visible girl. His claws sliced through the air, Alex's reflexes kicking in. She looked down at his hand, that should be severing her body. Logan waved his hand through the air that should be Alex.
"You're not hurt?"He seemed confused, even though he knew what she could do.
"Not a scratch!"She chirped."Now could you get your hand out of me? That tickles."He pulled back his hand and retracted his claws, still stunned. Alex sighed and became solid again, a large smile crossing her face.
"I scarred you."The pride in her voice was clear. She started to repeatedly poke him."I scarred you! i scarred you!"She singsonged as she did a little dance. He shook his head.
"You cheated."She playfully slapped him on the arm.
"Your just upset because the big bad Wolvie got scarred by lil ole' me."
"Doesn't count."Alex's mouth shaped into a little 'o' shape.
"Yes it does! I scarred you! Admit it!"Her voice rose and octave.
"No."He said, refusing to give in. Alex let out an annoyed huff before a sly smile crossed her face.
"Fine, just fine. Don't admit it then."She rocked on her heels and a giggle escaped her lips. Logan was worried now.
"What are you thinking?"he asked, eye brows raised.
"I have no idea what you're talking about." Her voice dripping with mock innocence. She blinked repeatedly, a large smile on her lips.
"Liar". She giggled and started to skip away."Seriously kid, what are you up to?"He started after her.
"Whatever are you talking about?"she smiled at him, and he glared at her.
"Kid, really. Come on!"Alex turned to face him/
"You really wanna know?"She asked, whispering in his ear. Logan nodded his head."You're sure?"Another nod of his head. Alex leaned closer to him, her lips centimeters away from his. Slowly, excruciatingly slowly, she closed the gap between them. Her fingers knitted themselves in his hair, and his hands went to her lower back. He tried to deepen the kiss but instead she pulled away. he was dazed, his eyes glassy. She smiled and turned on her heel. He stared after her as she sauntered away.
"Damn, she won."
