A hung over Tony lay curled up in the corner of his bed, eyes squeezed shut, lights around him turned off. He heard the tell tale clicking of her shoes on the floor, each click like a knife through his skull. As she got closer, the clicking became louder and he cringed, burring his head in the pillow. The door creaked open and he held up his hand:

"If you want to come any closer, take off the shoes."There was an annoyed huff and then sweet silence. There was a dip in the bed, indicating Serena had sat down.

"Sit up,"she instructed, he grudgingly did so and was rewarded with a glass of cold water and 2 tiny pills, which he took immediately. He placed the glass on the table, and slumped onto his pillow.

"So Steve tells me you two had a good night,"Tony grunted and turned on his side, prying his eyes open to look at his sort of girlfriend/assistant.

"Never again am I going drinking with him."A smile spread across her face.

"That bad huh,"Tony glared at her.

"I don't think I've ever had that much to drink before."

"Wow, that must be some sort of record."Serena said an amused smile on her lips.

"You're just loving this aren't you?"Tony's muffled voice croaked.

"yep,"said Serena, popping the 'p'.

"Is there a reason you're here?"Serena laughed and lay down next to him.

"Just came to check on my baby."She patted his head. Tony turned and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her in towards him, cuddling into her chest.

"My head hurts."He whined.

"I'm sorry."She said placing a kiss on his head, running her finger through his hair and a faint smile crossed his face.

"Sing to me."Tony mumbled, eyes shut.

"what?"Serena asked taken aback.

"Sing."

"I don't know what to sing."

"Sing a lullaby"

Serena smiled as a song came to mind,"By-low-by my little angel boy, by-low-by my little angel boy. By-low-by my little angel boy. By-low-by-low-by."

She finished and Tony smiled, eyes still closed."beautiful,"he whispered as he drifted off.

"Sleep tight hun."She kissed his forehead and slowly got out of the bed, tucking him and tip toeing to the door.

"love you."He whispered, barely audible. Serena froze at the door, turning to look at him with a soft smile.

"I love you too."
