He began charging the steps to the top but the high he got he became lethargic. Not wanting to really make it! A meeting like this was not one he had in mind, he talked about seeing his big brother again. So busy with work and always away on business this was just not going to be the start of a great day. Before he knew it , he was there. In the sunlight of the morning sun, he peered out over the vast space. The air was light and crisp and the sun was climbing sharp up against the back of the cemetery.

Shin squinted, covering his eyes and reached into his coat for his sunglasses, only to find them broken in three. It was no doubt due to his last Red Dragon skirmish. He pulled the map out of his pocket and followed it around until he reached the sight. The gray stone was adorned with blue hydrangeas and recently burned incense. Someone had been to see his brother, even before him. He looked at his brother's grave. He didn't have much to say. He pulled two sticks of incense out of his coat to burn, pulling his lighter from out and lighting it quickly.

He didn't have much to say. He was feeling a bit too uncomfortable about this. It's why he hadn't been before now. He was pissed off. He felt his brother was lost to false hope. His brother was a man and he made his own decisions, but that didn't stop how he was feeling. He knelt and closed his eyes and giving into this moment.

"I didn't know things would be like this, big brother. I also don't know how things will go in the future. If it's any consolation , I'm not looking to come back here. Not for you, not for anyone. So, I'm saying farewell."

He stood up again , getting back to his feet. Straightening away the grass on his slacks, something caught his as he turned to leave. In the between hydrangeas and the sand bed of the old burnt incense was a lone cigarette butt. He picked it out and stared at it for a long time. He figured whoever left it there didn't mean to and most likely used it to light the incense.

One last look at the cold stone with his brother's name engraved in it and the syndicate crest. He turned to walk away, but stopped short.

"That man, was never fit to lead. The fact that you're here proves that to me, now." He said, turning away. "So long, Lin." Walking away, back towards the now shining sun. Shin thought maybe this was a good resolution after all.
