This was a sad story to write, since Dei's may favorite character, but I felt like honoring SasoxDei. 3

I don't own Naruto. :D

"Wha?...Where am I...un?" Deidara opened his ocean blue eye, seeing the green trees of the forest. He heard voices, and then a figure appeared over his face.

"Well, the bastard's finally awake."

Deidara tried to get up, but the pain was unbearable. He slowly brought his hand to his stomach, feeling the blood seeping through his Akatsuki cloak. There were also nasty cuts and bruises all over his face and arms, and blood was running down his face. What had happened?

The shinobi smirked, kicking him in the ribs. "We took down that clay contraption you call a 'bird,' watching you fall to the ground. Then, well, we had a little...fun with ya." He laughed, holding up a blood soaked kunai.

Deidara's face turned pale. "So, I'm going to die, un?" He put his head softly on the ground, while taking out his ponytail. He almost never took out his ponytail, but he knew this was one of those times. He let his blood soaked hair fall lazily over the rest of his face, obscuring his features.

He closed his eye, thinking of all the memories he had made over the years. One stood out. The death of Deidara's one, Deidara's only, his Sasori-danna.

-Flashback-

"Ha, he died, un? Wow." Deidara looked around at all of the puppets strewn across the cavern.

"Yeah. Killed by some old bag and a pink haired kunoichi." Zetsu said, examining Deidara.

"Idiot. He was stupid enough to be overpowered by two...two...two women, un." He scoffed.

But inside, he was screaming. He was crying and kicking and screaming for his Danna. He wanted his Danna back. He wanted his Danna to yell at him for being stupid, to fight over the meaning of art with him.

He wanted...he wanted his Danna to hold him, like he used to.

He hated his room. He hated looking over at Sasori's bed, only to see that moron Tobi occupying his space. His missed the familiar sounds of Sasori fixing Hiruko, and the way he would just space out and stare at the walls for hours on end. Now he had to listen to "Sempaiii" over and over and over. He missed the happy silence he had shared with his Danna. To put it simply, Deidara missed everything about Sasori-danna.

-End flashback-

The more Deidara thought about Sasori, the more the tears fought to break free. He tried to hold them in, as not to show his emotions, but finally he gave up. The trees streamed down his face, mixing with the blood. The shinobi noticed his tears, and smirked. "Oh, don't be such a little wuss about dying. Everyone dies. Your time just came a little soon, is all."

Deidara laughed through his tears. "You're ignorant, un. These are not tears of sadness. These are tears of happiness, un."

The shinobi gave him a puzzled look. "You're...happy that you're dying?"

Deidara smiled, knowing his time was just about up. "No. I'm happy that...I'll finally get to be with Sasori-danna again."

The tears stopped. His blue eye closed, and he left this world, hoping that his Danna would be waiting for him.

The End.

The saddest story I've ever written.

But like I said, I have to honor SasoxDei 3
