''Rule Number One.'' John Crichton said.

He put his finger in the air to support his words as he walked through Moya's maintenance bay.

A young naive male reporter followed in his wake, taking snapshots of everything which crossed his path.

''Don't question everything too much.'' John went on. ''Like translator-microbes. They work, and that's all you need to know.''

John led the reporter to more rooms and corridors on board Moya.

''Digging for answers will lead you nowhere in these Uncharted Territories, you got that?'' John said.

The reporter nodded.

''Good… "John continued, sticking two fingers in the air."Rule Number Two.''

Then he suddenly stopped.

The reporter hardly noticed as he kept on making pictures of everything on Moya.

DRD's.

Bulkheads.

Everything was lit up by the flash of the camera as it was being immortalized on film.

''What's your name?'' John asked.

''What?'' the reporter asked, not paying attention at first.

''What's your name?" John repeated. "Your designation?''

''Tom.'' the reporter said. ''Tom Wallace.''

John sighed as he looked at him.

''All right, Tom.'' he continued. ''Rule Number Two: never ever, and I mean never...HI HONEY.''

''Good morning.'' Aeryn said cheerfully, holding the one-year old D'Argo in her hands. He was sleeping.

Tom immediately shot her picture, blinding Aeryn for a microt.

Tom was fascinated. He had never seen Aeryn in real-life before.

''Who's your friend?'' Aeryn asked.

John kissed little D'Argo before looking at Aeryn.

''This is Tom.'' he explained. ''He will be joining us for the next half cycle.''

''Half a cycle?'' Aeryn asked.

''He's going to document the journey and take pictures to show to Earth when we take him back.''

The look on Aeryn's face said she clearly wasn't happy that she was the last one to know about this new arrival.

''I was just showing him around Moya.'' John added.

''Fine.'' Aeryn said sighing, deciding to go along with it.

''Thanks honey.'' John said as he kissed his wife gently on her forehead in gratitude.

''Well, the more the carrier, you always say.'' Aeryn added.

''What?'' Tom said, overhearing Aeryn mispronouncing an Earth saying.

''Don't ask.'' John said. ''Let's move on. Here, let me show you to your quarters.''

John pointed to a doorway, but Tom had a suggestion.

''Thanks, but I've seen enough.'' Tom said. ''I can find my quarters myself, thank you.''

''You sure?'' John asked.

''Yes.'' Tom said, clutching his camera in his hands and throwing his bag of possessions over his shoulder.

''I'll be fine.''

As he left, both Chiana and Rygel appeared, as though they were hiding from this new crewmember.

They took positions next to John and Aeryn.

''Everything will go smoothly for him, won't it?'' Aeryn asked as they all watched Tom walk into the distance of the corridor.

''He'll get a free tour of the Uncharted Territories.''

Rygel snorted. Chiana's hands were itching.

''No danger. No fear. No death.'' Aeryn went on. ''Not like you.''

John remained silent, up to a point.

''Rygel, steal his stuff.'' John said. ''Chiana, take him to a Commerce Planet tomorrow and get him into some trouble.''

Both Rygel and Chiana laughed as they left into opposite corridors.

''You're evil.'' Aeryn said as she brought her nose towards his.

''I know.'' John said smiling as he kissed her.
