Shouting can be heard from the rec room within the mighty Castle of Lions. We find three of our beloved heroes having a very loud 'conversation'.
"I don't care Lance. You broke the first rule of the Alamo. NO GIRLS ALLOWED! How could you?"
"Hey it's not like I planned it Pidge. Ginger and I were out hiking…"
"Oh is that what it's called?"
"Shut up Hunk. Anyway, we were on our way back when that storm hit. We were not far from the cabin and we had to find shelter, so what else could I have done?"
"Found a cave?"
"Dug a hole?"
"Oh you two are a riot. Look it's not every day that the Vehicle Force is here on Arus and I wanted to show Ginger the sights. We didn't plan on breaking any rules and we're sorry. Besides, I'm not the first to break the rules."
Pidge's eyes bug out in shock, "Who else has taken a girl there?"
"How do you think Romelle learned how fish?"
"Sven?!"
"Yep."
"Anyone else?"
Looking contrite, Hunk confesses, "Well…remember that time I had to escort Cookie to Alforia and the horses ran off?"
"Hunk you didn't!"
"Hunk you sly dog!" Lance gives the big guy a congratulatory slap on the back.
"Hey it was freezing cold out and we needed to warm up! It was the closest place I could think of. "
Pidge looks down shaking his head in sorrow "Whatever happened to the Guy Code? We built that place as a Man's Retreat and no one seemed to take that to heart but Keith and Me."
Lance and Hunk share a knowing look and they can't help themselves, they can't hold back the snickers.
Pidge looks up and asks "No…not Keith? Speaking of the Cap, where is he?"
Hunk walks up to Pidge a places a sympathetic hand on his shoulder to explain, "Little buddy, sometimes the Princess and Keith just need to get away and have some privacy. Ya know?"
The Green Lion pilot lets out a sigh of great sadness.
"Don't be so upset shortie. One day you'll find a girl and sneak her off to the Alamo too. It's a rite of passage actually. Cheer up will ya? Rules are made to be broken…sometimes."
In a small wooden cabin several miles from the Castle of Lions…
"Welcome to the Alamo Princess."
"Wow, I never thought I'd get to see this place. Are you sure the guys won't get mad?"
"Why? After all you're not the first girl to come here."
"I know. Romelle couldn't stop bragging about what a great time she had here."
"Look we'll take a walk, do a little fishing and then have a nice, quiet, romantic evening. Just us cuddling by a roaring fire with no Nanny, no Coran and most importantly….no interruptions."
"Who would've thought that the tough as nails Voltron Commander would be such a romantic at heart. I love you Keith."
