I graduated from demon hunting, so I now have no job. It sucks but it is what it is. I didn't see
Dante again until the following week. He walked into the train as normal. He smiled. I smiled.
"Hey," Dante said
"Hi," I replied back.
"Wanna go to my house?" He asked.
"Uh, yeah. I guess so," I answered back.
"Okay," Dante said.
He sits next to me on the train bench and starts reading about statistics again. I started to
wonder how he could deal with so much math. I put my headphones on and start to listen to
The Living Tombstone.
"What the hell is that?!" Dante retored.
"Whats what?" I questioned.
"What are you listening to?" He said.
"Uh, The Living Tombstone. Why?" I asked.
"Sounds kinda wierd..." He muttered.
"Tch, whatever old man," I said.
"So I'm an old man now?"
"Yes. Yes you are,"
"So you're a kid then,"
"I'll gladly be that, then," I chuckled.
And that was that.
I went to his house, Eva being there and shit. I sat down and waited. Dante prepared pizza for
the both of us. We ate but we didnt talk. But then, Dante broke the silence.
" I like you." He said.
I almost dropped my pizza. " W-What?"
"You heard me" He looks me straight in the eye. No sign of hesitation or regret- nothing. I
finished my pizza without saying anything for a few moments.
"I do too," I muttered, with a blush.
He sighs and his shoulders drooped. "I'm glad," He smiled.
He gets up and he leans near me. He then kisses me. I can't say I wasnt suprised. So, I kissed
him back, hard. So did he. I didn't really know what to do. I guess he knew that because he
moved his hands down to my legs and picked me up bridal style. Luckily , I had my hands
around his neck so I didn't fall. He broke the kiss and smiled. He then spun me around and we
pretty much couldn't help but laugh.
"So..." Dante said.
"Yeah?"
He let me fixed ourselves. "Do you want to stay over?"
