Nightmares Can Come True

SPOILERS!

Authors Note: In the SRMTHFG episode Night of Fear, in the end of the episode Mandarin almost killed Chiro when he threatened the Robot to back off by using Chiro as a hostage. We know he tried to kill Chiro right after only to be stopped by Chiro himself. However, what would of happened if Chiro never did? If Chiro died? Done by Nova's view.

'Damn that creep! Stupid Mandarin! I'll make him pay for what he's done!' I growled as Sprx aimed his magnets at him and I slid straight into fighting position. I could see Gibson and Chiro a little behind Mandarin. Chiro looked very scared.

"Bwahahahaha!" Mandarin laughed.

"A blind buffoon and a witless coward! This is too easy!" He steps forward before looking around as giant podiums rise around him and aim weapons.

"gasp! But how?"

"The Super Robot won't let you get away with this either!" Chiro snaps, however, he has traces of fear in his eyes and stance.

"So! It thinks for itself now huh? Huh ah ah now let's see if it has any feelings." He cackles evilly

'Great what does that mean? " My gaze turns from angry to horrified in a second as Mandarin Jumps up and grabs my leader before hlding his sharp pointed claw to Chiro's heart. 'NOOO!'

"Auugh!" Chiro gasps. I can see him struggle, the uncensored fear so strong portrayed on his face.

"Haha! You can't strike me without hurting the boy!" He smiles, when the Super Robot retreats his weapons. 'Why is this happening!?"

"Mwahaha. It seems I know what the robot fears most as well." He raises his arm, " Goodbye Chiro!" "

"CHIRO!" I shout! Sprx stiffens, hands stretched to grab, Gibson freaks, fear plastered to his face. I can feel my eyes watering. It's not just the Super Robots fear but also a fear I know the whole team shares. The death of a family member.

SHINK! Drip, drip, drip.

I collapse. Chiro. Chiro. Chiro.

I'm sobbing so loudly now. Mandarin laughs so hard, but all I see his Chiro's pained face. His blood dripping of Mandarins Clawed hand.

Drip, drip.

Chiro's gaze slides to us as he rolls to his side. The Robot charges up his weapons. Chiro's eyes hold love, regret and sadness. The weapons fire. Antauri and Otto appear behind me before freezing in shock. Chiro's weak, pained, smile. Mandarin killed, that pendant broken. Chiro's eyes slip closed. I run to his side.

"CHIRO!"
